Set Up Syncing between Google and your iPhone or iPod Touch; continue not to impress chicks

Yeah, Google seems to be cranking out nerdy software goodness lately! Just now I noticed they have opened up syncing with iPhones (or any other device supporting syncing with an exchange server – like Windows Mobile phones). You can sync contacts and calendars with your your google account. It even works with Google Apps. Lovely! Check it out below

Jeg anbefaler at vente lidt… Der er nogle problemer med kontakt-syncing. Jeg har mistet de kontakter med billeder (DIN bl.a., Søren!) og indtil de kan modtage/sende hele listen og har helt styr på det, risikerer man at miste nogle kontakter og/eller spilde en hel del tid…

hvis du har mistet billeder kan et kvik-fix være at hente nogle ned i et go fra facebook til Outlook (Windows) vha “OutSync” (http://www.melsam.com/outsync/) eller til Addressbook (Mac) ved hjælp af “AdressbookSync” (http://danauclair.com/addressbooksync/). Virker upåklageligt.
Derefter bruger jeg selv “gSyncIt” (http://daveswebsite.com/software/gsync) (koster 60kr oder so) til at synce contacts til Gmail inkl billeder.
Når man sætter sådan noget sync gøjl op skal der ALTID lige lidt fiddeling til før det spiller. Det handler om ikke opgive og bruge tid på at sætte det op nu så det bare funker!
