New TV shows I’ve been watching lately…

Some of the best series I have seen in the past couple of years have been Flight of the Conchords, Arrested Development and a Danish Comedy series called Klovn (= danish word for Fool). For some reason, niché series like Flight of the Conchords are made for a big enough audience to warrant them
Modern Family
This has been touted as a comedy to replace Arrested Development…yeah right!!! Don’t set the bar that high ABC, it will be VERY hard to live up to. BUT, I will say that the first episode of the first season WAS pretty good. I doubt it can be as good as Arrested Development, but so far I’ll keep watching it. I like the big gay guy in the series.
Curb Your Enthusiams
This is not a new series, it’s really old actually. Starting its 6th season this autumn, it is created by the brains behind Seinfeld from the 90s. This 6th season will see the reunion of the full cast of Seinfeld (but not as their characters, their real life selves). It’s not quite as funny as Klovn, but American humor usually isn’t. It still has it’s moment. I’m particularly admused when Larry David (main character) says “preeeeeettty preeeetty prettty good“.
Dexter
Dexter is not a new series either. I started watching it a coupleof the years ago but never really fell for it. I guess I have become older and wiser (or my TV viewing standards have dropped – who knows). Nothing really special and the 2nd season is definitely not as good as the first so far (I’m a couple of episodes in).
Where do I find the time to follow all of these TV shows I don’t know, but somehow I manage. Luckily Julie is good a scoping out new series and pre-screen them so I only get to watch the good stuff…hoorrah for her!)

Apropos nye serier, her er de nye serier jeg har set 1-2 afsnit af:
The Cleveland show(spin off af family guy, måske sjov for tidligt at sige)
Community ( ny sitcom med bl.a. Cheavy Chase, har potentiale )
Parks (The Office klon med andre personer, kunne gå hen og blive sjov)
The forgotten (Christian Slater!, ikke sikker på den bliver fremragende)
Bored to death ( lidt mystisk detective ting, hvis man er bored ok underholdning )
The vampire dairies (hvis du er tosset med Twilight!( det er jeg ikke ))
Har slet ikke tid til at følge med i flere serier, kæmper allerede med at følge med i de “gamle”

ehhh Anders, hvor har du lige fundet ud af dem, Jeg troede ellers jeg var på forkant :S
Men nuvel, jeg vil straks sætte julle på sagen om at undersøge dem
